HOW TO REPLACE A MISSING TOOTH WITH AN IMPLANT
- 11st visit - ExaminationsDuring the first visit, the doctor will perform the necessary examinations:

- 22nd visit - Presentation of the treatment planBased on the examinations of the first visit, a personalized treatment plan is prepared for you with further treatment steps, clear costs, deadlines, which includes not only the placement of the implant, but a complete plan on how you can reach your perfect smile. Also, the doctor will digitally create your future smile design (DSD).
- 3Dental implant placement and healingIn the event that your bone level allows for an implant placement procedure without bone augmentation, then during one visit the surgeon places the implant in the place of the missing tooth, this procedure is quick (up to 1 hour) and painless, as anesthesia is used, and sedation with nitrous oxide ("laughing gas") is possible for maximum relaxation. THE AIM

WHAT WE DID
- We performed complex diagnostics - anamnesis collection, examination of the oral cavity and teeth, 3 Shape scan, intraoral digital X-rays, KSDT (3D X-ray), photo protocol, facial analysis;
- We developed a personalized treatment plan - in which we included all necessary finances, implementation time, as well as demonstrated a digital smile design, during which the patient was able to see a before/after picture of her smile, even, before we started any treatment process.
THE RESULT
- Duration of treatment 3 months:
- We replaced 2x missing teeth with Straumann implants,
- We performed endodontic root canal treatment under microscope control,
- Therapeutic treatment and
- Smile reconstruction with 24 ceramic veneers made in our technical laboratory in Dubai, each veneer is a work of art, which is made individually by the ceramist, based on all diagnostic data, face and smile analysis and individual wishes of the patient.
Complex work, which involved multiple specialists in our clinic, as well as a surgeon, implantologist, endodontist and prosthetist.
Condition of the patient’s oral and dental health was very poor, localized periodontitis (gum disease), multiple missing teeth. We performed dental hygiene and prophylactic briefing, therapy, treatment of the existing teeth, inserted 4 implants in combination with 6 zirconia crowns and 2 ceramic veneers.

Nowadays, it can be called a myth, because implants settle in completely for all people, because we have available a wide range of different implant systems that we can use in your specific situation, while the reasons why you can be refused an implant placement operation are the following: in cases of various chronic diseases, for example, diabetes patients, immunosuppressed patients, as well as smokers (tobacco products) and drug addicts.
When a tooth is lost, the teeth and adjacent teeth on the opposite side rush to take the place of the missing tooth, as a result, within a few years, you lose the proportions of your physiological bite, and you may start having problems with the jaw joint (tinnitus, pain, etc.), as well as the adjacent teeth may become more sensitive to cold/hot/sour/salty/sweet products, resulting in the need for treatment or even extraction of other teeth. Because of this, we recommend replacing the missing tooth within 1 year of its loss.
We cooperate with Swiss implants Straumann and Straumann implants group Neodent GM.
In order to replace a missing tooth with an implant, it is necessary to 1. insert the implant (wait 3 months for it to sink in) 2. insert a gum former on the implant (wait 1 week) 3. put a prosthesis on the implant (1 week). Because of this, the whole process takes about 4 months.
Depending on your clinical case and implant system, a Straumann BLX sla implant costs 850 euros, a Neodent GM implant costs 650 euros, while a full-form zirconia crown on a Straumann and Neodent implant costs 850 euros.
