Your first visit always begins in our consultation room, not in the dentist's chair. Our priority is to get to know you first—to discuss your wishes, concerns, and goals regarding your oral and dental health.

During this initial conversation, we discussed:

• The patient’s previous experiences with dental visits;
• What causes anxiety or fear;
• What she likes and dislikes about her smile;
• Her specific desires and goals;
• The importance of a natural look;
• Other essential medical history (anamnesis) questions.

A consilium of dentists was gathered to analyze the complexity of the case.
After gathering all the diagnostic data, the patient’s case was carefully analyzed by a team of experts: a surgeon, a prosthodontist, an endodontist, a dental hygienist, and an aesthetic specialist.

The Transformation: A 1.5-Year Journey
This was not a "quick fix." It was a meticulous and thoughtful process that restored the patient’s smile and self-confidence step by step. From the very beginning, clear priorities were established: achieving optimal oral hygiene and replacing missing teeth through dental implantation.

1.Why We Always Start with Dental Hygiene
The first step in every journey is always a visit to the dental hygienist.
Why? To thoroughly prepare the teeth and reduce the bacterial load in the oral cavity, ensuring a clean and healthy environment for further procedures.
Immediately after, we scheduled the implant placement. Replacing a missing tooth as soon as possible is critical. When a tooth is lost, it triggers a chain reaction of changes in the body—from bone loss to the shifting of surrounding teeth.

2.Implants for Missing Teeth
To replace several missing teeth, we chose the Straumann implant system - a premium Swiss manufacturer.

3.Achieving Optimal Oral Health
We performed root canal treatments under microscopic control for teeth that showed signs of inflammation, cysts and localized infections in the bone tissue on X-rays.
The process continued with restorative treatments: replacing old fillings, treating dental caries (decay), and reinforcing the tooth structure with fiberglass posts for added strength.
We also focused on soft tissue management, performing gum contouring (gingivoplasty) to improve gum symmetry and create a balanced frame for the new smile.

4.The Aesthetic Phase: Veneers and Overlays
Once the foundation of oral health was fully restored, we moved on to the next stage: enhancing the aesthetics. The patient preferred not to undergo long-term orthodontic treatment with clear aligners, so we chose an alternative restorative solution that allowed us to:

• Visually align the shape of the teeth;
• Restore tooth wear and volume;
• Create a beautiful, harmonious smile without the need for traditional straightening.

The chosen solution was porcelain veneers.

These veneers are crafted using the biomimetic method.
What does this mean? It means that only a minimal preparation of the tooth enamel is required—typically only 0.3 to 0.5 mm. This allows the natural tooth structure to remain almost entirely intact, requiring virtually no grinding!

5.Crowns on Implants
After the three-month healing period, once the implants were successfully integrated, we placed zirconia crowns in the posterior (side) zones. Zirconia is the material of choice for its exceptional durability, aesthetics, and biocompatibility, ensuring long-term safety and strength.

The Result: A Younger Appearance and Renewed Confidence
When the patient arrived for her final appointment, the moment was incredibly emotional. Seeing the transformation for the first time, she didn't just see new teeth—she saw a version of herself that looked years younger and felt radiantly confident.
After a 1.5-year journey of meticulous planning and care, her smile is now a perfect reflection of her inner vitality.
